Check out our weekly outdoor yoga classes held in the grassy field directly beside High Gravity Adventures (HGA). Immerse yourself in nature and practice on your own individual wooden platform specifically made for our yoga classes out in the field! We encourage you to come out and feel the energy in this outdoor location where you will hear the birds singing...and occasionally a zip-liner & the Tweetsie Train!
Location: HGA is located at 215 Tweetsie Railroad Rd in Blowing Rock, NC. When you make the turn in off of Highway 321, drive straight down, turn left into the parking lot for HGA, then drive all the way down to the end. Once you park, you can enter through the field and walk through the grass to pick out your individual yoga platform for class (see picture where to park and enter). The grass can be a little wet sometimes, so make sure to wear shoes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty. You do not enter through HGA’s entrance, but if you do, they are super kind and will show you the way :)
Waitlist: If the class is “full,” that means that all of our individual wooden decks are reserved, but there is unlimited space in the grass! If you add yourself to the waitlist, you can still show up and practice in the grass with us!
On sunny days, our platforms are in the sunshine for our scheduled morning classes with some shaded options during the evening classes. Restrooms will be open at HGA for your use and we have mats available for you to use if you do not have your own. Advanced sign up is not required, but since we have a limited amount of platforms, we strongly encourage you to sign up ahead of time.
Outdoor Yoga at Valle Crucis Park
MONDAYS
5:15-6:15pm Outdoor Slow Flow at Valle Crucis Park
Experience the magic of Valle Crucis Park with a grounding and peaceful yoga practice. Everyone is welcome to join us in this general, all-encompassing slow flow with emphasis on stability, mobility, and functional movement. Join us in this hatha inspired practice as we move our body and connect with nature!
Location: For this class, plan to meet in front of the park office - the first visible building when you drive into the park (look for our wagon filled with yoga mats!). At 5:15pm, the group will walk to the yoga spot together (usually a grassy spot). If you are late, take a walk on the paved walking path and after a short walk you will run into our class!
This class is typically in the shade, but be prepared with sunscreen and bug spray just in case. We also recommend bringing a large towel or blanket to put under your yoga mat to make your space in the grass a little extra comfortable. Restrooms and a water fountain are available at the park for your use. Advanced sign up is not required, but we strongly encourage you to sign up ahead of time if possible to save time upon arrival. Mats & equipment are provided at no extra cost if you do not bring your own. See you in the park!

Weather Cancellations
In the event of rain or inclement weather, those who are preregistered for an outdoor class will receive a cancellation email 30 minutes before the class start time (if you don’t receive an email, we are planning on holding the class). The cancellation will also be shown 30 minutes prior to the class on our sign up page. If you used a class package or bought a single class, it will be credited back on your MindBody account with us for you to use until the expiration date.
